Thunderbirds Alumni Association Membership The Thunderbirds Alumni Association shall have four categories of members: Alumni, Team, Honorary and Associate. Alumni membership is extended to all who served with the United States Air Demonstration Squadron, "The Thunderbirds", in the capacity of officer or enlisted personnel, and who wore the patch and have been certified as worthy by their Commander/Leader. No eligible member will be expelled from the Association; they will maintain either Active (dues paying, lifetime) or Inactive (non-dues paying) status. Team membership shall be extended to current Team officers and enlisted personnel who have satisfactorily completed their observation period. Honorary membership shall be extended to Team selected Honorary Thunderbirds and Honorary Crew Chiefs. Associate membership may be extended to personnel who have been assigned to the Team, i.e., Chaplain or Flight Surgeon, etc. Associate membership may also be extended by a majority vote of the Board of Directors, to spouses of deceased alumni members, key personnel or special friends who support the Team or Association.
